Bonanza Valley State Bank now offers P2P payments online and via the mobile app!

Person to person (P2P) payments allow you to transfer funds from your bank account to another individual.

On the app:

• Log into Bonanza Valley State Bank’s mobile app
• Click on the 3 lines in the top, right corner
• Click on P2P Payments
• Click ‘+’ on the bottom of the screen
• Enter name and email address of the person you want to send money to. Choose the account you want the funds to be deducted from. Enter the amount you want to send. Enter in a secret code; you will give the recipient this code and they will enter on their end to receive the funds (must be 5 letters in length)
• Click submit in the top, right corner
• Verify the information is correct and ‘confirm’
• You will get confirmation notice (or a reason why it cannot be completed)
• The recipient will receive an email and they will need to click the link
• This will bring up a webpage that looks like BVSB’s online banking homepage
• They will need to enter the email address that received the link and the secret code given to them from the person sending the money
• Click submit
• The recipient will enter the name on their account, their bank’s routing number, their account number and whether it’s a checking or savings account where they want the funds to go
• Click send money
• They will receive a confirmation and the funds should be in the account they entered in 1-2 business days
